Heavy downpour could not deter the spirits of the Telangana NRIs living in Singapore from reaching the venue of ” Telangana Aaata Paata Muchhata ” at Pasir Ris Beach Park on Sunday, June 27, 2010. The event was conducted from 11 AM to 6 PM started with “ jaya jaya hey Telangana “ followed by cultural events.
With the growing number of Telangana culture and heritage enthusiasts coming from all the nook and corners of the Island city, for the first time in the history of Singapore an event of this scale was conducted by Singapore Telangana Friends (STF) and turned out be a great success.
For the event Lunch was served with authentic Telangana delicious including Pachhipulusu, Bagara Rice , Mirchi ka Salan , Sakinalu etc.
All of participant recalled and shared their pastimes in Telangana, expressed their gratitude’s to people of their villages/town for their support, further they expressed their strong desire for Telangana statehood.
STF thanks everybody who participated in the event and for those could not attend this time stay tuned for the next event.
